Vision changes

Posted by Charlene on January 21, 1998 at 18:41:19:

Does anyone know if vision(eye) problems could
be related to Narcolepsy. I had trouble with my
eyes before I got the diagonsis, but they are not
improving either! They are tired a lot, red, achy,
sometimes I see shadows when I'm trying to read
and the lighting is good, other times they
are so blurry I can't get them to focus it's like
having a constant film over your eyes, they just hurt...
Anyone had any experience with this? Could my
medication be making it worse? I'm on Ritalin Sustained Release and Protriptylin(sp) could this
be making my eyes worse?
I'm concerned I can't see nearly as good as I did a year ago and this perscription is a year old
if that!
Thanks for any suggestion/help!
