I just saw the bill for my sleep study and it was $2500 (ouch!) and the CPAP was $1200 plus all the masks, nasal pillows, etc. which probably ran the total to about $1600. The provider did offer rental agreements at 1/12 of purchase price per month. Surely there must be people who have CPAP machines who no longer need them and would sell or give them away. You might try advertising somewhere or maybe contact a nursing home. My insurance did cover 90% of the cost. They also bullied the doctor into not gouging so bad on the office visit. Good luck.
