second CPAP machine

I have a job that when I leave in the morning I never know if I will come home to sleep or sleep at my sons 30 miles away. I would like to have a second machine. I know insurance won"t pay how much does this equipment cost. are some units less expensive. I have a respironics and the thought of spending a night withou my CPAP is unacceptable
