I just had a somnoplasty done last Friday. They say it takes 3-6 weeks before the body reabsorbes the dead tissue and it shrinks which stops the snoring. So far everything looks good although my snoring (and apnea) got much worse right after the procedure. I called the Dr and had him prescribe a Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Methylprednisolone which decreased the substantial swelling. Today my throat feels like a moderately painful run of the mill sore throat. Your welcome to E-mail me to find out how it progresses.
