Well, finally I got to get some sleep after I attached my heated humidifier. However, it was sporadic the first night, dropping into sleep intermittently. I felt Ok the next day, but not fantastic. The next night, however, I set my unit back 2 notches (from 13cm to 11cm), as suggested by someone on this net, to slowly progress into my whirlwind pressure. I slept for 2 hours, hit the john, then went back to sleep for 5 hours. I woke up feeling a little tired, took off the mask and dropped off for an hour without it. When I woke, I went to church feeling pretty good, but during church, I suddenly felt like I couldn't get enough air and even felt a little woozy. This went on for the next few hours. What do you think happened? Is it a bad trip to set the unit under the sleep lab recommended pressure? Can the CPAP actually pull down on my natural breathing, or will my breathing override it?
