Awake and, well, WEIRD

I was recently diagnosed with severe OSA, and started my CPAP machine for titration a couple of days ago.

And I feel weird.

I think this means it's working--I'm able so far to keep the mask on about 4-5 hours a night, and after the first night, was experiencing all kinds of strange sensations--not having to concentrate to keep my eyelids open, being able to do simple math, etc.

Could some of you folks relate your positive experiences with CPAP? Nobody was more skeptical or less willing than I to strap this contraption to my face, but I am finding to my amazement it makes a difference. How huge a difference the coming weeks will tell.
