Somnoplasty cures Snoring and Apnea???

Posted by Jon Friedman on November 05, 1997 at 15:31:28:

Does anyone know anything about this proceedure called Somnoplasty? Its supposed to cure snoring and they want to use it for apnea as well. Its a Radio Frequency device they put under the surface of the mouth to reduce tissue. No cutting like LAUP and temp is 180 degrees vs. 900 for laser. Supposed to be painless also.

I'm thinking of having it done. Any info would be much appreciated. Please post and/or email me. Thanks
