Dreams, Sleep Disorders, Hypnosis Term Paper

Posted by Amanda on November 06, 1997 at 19:23:25:

I am a freshman at Jackson High School, Mill Creek, Washington. For my Adolescent Behavior class I have to do a term project on sleep disorders, drams and hypnosis, and as part of this project I have to interview someone of knowledge on the above subject. My paper is due 11/13/97. Do you have time to answer the following questions for my term paper? If so, please provide a brief resume for yourself if you have one, or provide me with some basic information concerning yourself and your background on the above subject. You may e-mail your response to me at nealer@gte.net.

QUESTIONS:

How do sleeping disorders affect one' life? If there are different kinds of sleep disorders can you please list some.

How are sleeping disorders treated or cured, if at all? And, if different treatments for different disorders, if more than one, please tell me what you can about each treatment.

jWhy do people dream? What are dreams supposed to mean, if anything?

Is there anything you can tell me that an ordinary person would be surprised to know about dreams and sleeping disorders?

Your anticipated assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. Please feel free to elaborate on any one of the above questions if you have time.

Amanda

(p.s. - my parents did help in drafting this letter)
