I'm definately NOT new at this and YES there is hope. In our Sleep Center we routinely warn patients that the first night and possibly several nights will NOT represent how CPAP feels in the long run. Talk to your CPAP supplier and the staff at the sleep lab where your study was done. Also, check out the ASAA, American Sleep Apnea Association, a patient group.
