kline levin syndrom

I have a fifteen year old that was diagnosed with kline Levin syndrom and this is in the sleep disorder family. It stikes teenage boys and is outgrown in 2 years or so. It runs in cycles and comes when his immune system is down. I need to talk with anyone that has information about this and could share. The symptoms are sleeping for three to seven days only getting up to eat and go to the bathroom, eating large amounts of food before or after this period, outspoken behavior, dazed look, and he says he is in a dream state. It took a while to diagnose but we went to Duke and where given immediate answers. I just need someone to talk to that has info or has experienced this. Thanks! S. Marinelli
