Narcolepsy Diagnosis

Posted by Charlene on November 21, 1997 at 11:46:40:

It's been a bit over a month since I began writing in with sleep problems. Within that time
till now I have been through the night time sleep as well as the daytime study. Yesterday the 20th
I was diagnosised as a Naropletic. I'm 23yrs old
and am just strating to realize the affects this
will have on my life. I have been given
perscriptions for Ritalin and an anit-depressent to help with loss of muscle control. I've been
told that it could take up to 6 months to find a treatment that works for me.
Lots of you have been a help to me and wanted you to be aware of where my treatment has led to at this time. Thank for all for your help it's greatly appreicated! :)
I'm searching for a support group now if you have any ideas I would appreicate it.
Thanks so much!
