If you had severe snoring and needed CPAP you probably had at least a partial obstruction which made your breathing difficult which made your sleep much lighter than it should be. When you have difficulty breathing in sleep the two stages of sleep which get reduced are slow wave sleep (deep sleep) and REM sleep (dreaming). When we go to a device to correct the problem the body wants to make up for all the lost SWS and REM sleep and we will have extra amounts for a period of time (called rebound) then everything goes back to normal. So if you just started using cpap you may tend to remember more dreams and in SWS you may have a tendency to sleepwalk, if you sleepwalked as a child. So if everything else is normal then these symptoms should go away after a week or so of cpap but if they continue then you should notify your sleep doc and let him know.
