Sleep changes with Light and Seasons

Posted by Melanie Gann on December 01, 1997 at 18:38:03:

For the past 5-8 years I've noticed that my sleep patterns in the winter stink. I wake up in the winter typically about 4:00 AM. I could find nothing on this site with regards to sleep pattern changes that may occur as the result of season or light changes, and wondered if anyone had had the same experience.

Wierdly (during these wakeful hours with nothig left to do), I noticed that I sleep better with my legs in a figure 4 configuration...and wondered if there was anything to do with "energy polarity".

Am not crazy, just tired and looking forward to the return of the light! Don't feel depressed either (as in SAD).

Curious,
Melanie
