Hi Cobi,
Thanks for responding. I've been faithfully using CPAP for over a year and a half now. For 2 weeks it worked great and since then, though of some assistance, it has simply not been effective. My wife and I are both very concerned about all the problems associated with severe apnea. That's why I've turned to this board for help. As far as a drug to cure apnea, the steroids when used in conjunction with the CPAP provided me with 3 or 4 exceptionally good nights sleep as they shrink tissues and allowed the CPAP to work. Thanks again for your response.
