I just visited a Doctor who wish to perform the surgical procedure Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty or (UPPP) in just one visit. You could always seek a second opinion provided your insurance company would allow it. I stopped breathing 10% of the time according to the sleep lab I was at though I'm not sure what that represent as to the actual number of times I stopped breathing. Maybe a second opinion is in order.
