Curious

Posted by Laurence Sheed on February 05, 1998 at 04:14:50:

A a young child (late 70's early 80's),
my mother took me to the
Royal Free Hospital in London, England
for a treatment related to sleeping problems.

I remember the nurses washing my hair, and placing
electrodes on my skull. They then told me to
go to sleep, and when I woke up, I could see different moving colors - a little like clouds, when I closed my eyes.
This is still in effect now, albeit in a much reduced state - over 20 years later.

Does anybody have a clue what they did, what it
was called, and what sides effects this had / may have had?
