I bought one of these Homemedics things, took it right back. The electronic noise is annoying, not soothing, and each selection has a clear start and stop electronic click as the cycles on the microchip go their recursive ways. Don't buy it. I am looking for one of the "old-fashioned" ones powered by an electric motor with a fan blade and adjustable baffles to increase/decrease the sound volume. Any help out there on a brand name?
