I have not been diagnosed with narcolepsy, but definitely struggle with
EDS, and have all the other symptoms except cataplexy.
I am currently on clonazepam (Klonipin) at night with increasing dosages.
I often startle at the slightest noise, or change in dream. The most
frustrating thing is that I often scream when I startle. Not only is
that irritating to
the rest of my family but I can no longer sneak a nap in a class, library,
park bench, etc. without the fear of screaming in public. Has anyone had
similar symptoms with a definite diagnosis, and, or medication that works
well?
