End hose hassle

Posted by George Malsam on February 09, 1998 at 06:32:14:

I have been using CPAP for over two months. I'm a retired woodworking teacher. To eliminate the problem of the hose pulling on my face mask and getting tangled, I designed a hose holder to hang on the wall above the bed. It works great! I made it of hardwood and finished it to match our bedroom furniture. The holder is mounted approximately 20² above my pillow. Its arm extends out and swivels as I turn from side to side in my sleep. This holder stops sudden jerks on the face mask, making for more comfortable sleep. The holder keeps the hose from tangling, and the face mask and hose fold and store neatly against the wall when not in use.

If you would like a picture of the CPAP Hose Holder in use, please let me know.
