I had the uppp surgery 1/6/98 and it took 10 days to get the eating disorder back on track. I took no post hospital meds except children's tylenoyl. Sure, it was a bit of a discomfort, but after 3-4 days, it was more of an inconvenience. (Saving the heavy meds for Bike Week)

I elected the surgery because Doc said I had moderate apnea, O2 went to 66%, and I had tonsels intact. Gave me the 85% talk, too. I could not envision a CPAP, or soffication, and sleeping was getting to be another disorder I did not like. I really did not like sleeping, but it was something to do between life and death. It was a PITA waiking up every hour....

Problem solved. Wife indicates no breathing stoppages. Ah, the sleep of the innocent.

I am a happy guy.
