Posted by Bill Woistman on February 11, 1998 at 22:34:10:The other night I awoke from a good sleep jumped out of bed and began gasping unsuccessfully for air for what seemed like an eternity. From what I've read on this forum I may be at the initial stages of a sleep apnea problem.
I would like to know why I was not able to take any air in for such a long time, and believe me I was trying. Also, if it happens again do you have any ideas for quicker recovery (abdominal thrusts?, body or head positions?, etc.).
Thank you
Bill
