Sleep Apnea, will it ever stop?

Posted by Thomas F. Griffith on February 14, 1998 at 01:45:02:

Well here it is just around 4 AM again. I have been on CPAP with a setting of 15 for a year now and am still waking up in the middle of the night. The gel mask works very nicely but I still have a problem with leakage at various times. I have only dreamed maybe twice in the past year and really haven't felt like doing a whole lot and just go through the routine of my job. After work it is a struggle to get home and stay awake driving that half hour to get home. Am I ever going to get a true night's sleep or am I destined to keep this very frustrating routine for the rest of my life? I really need to talk with someone to help me get through this.
