Posted by Chelsea Shoen on February 17, 1998 at 00:55:46:I sleep on average 10-12 hours a night. I am so hard to wake up that I often wake with my kids screaming right in my face. When I wake this way I know in the recesses of my foggy mind that they have been doing this for quite some time. When I do wake up I'm groggy for hours and usually have to nap for 2-3 hours more in the afternoon inorder to make it through the day. Alot of times when people try to wake me up I dream that I'm awake doing what ever it is that they want me to do and can't understand it when their still yelling at me to get up. I have fallen asleep at redlights, movies, offices if the wait is to long...I talk in my sleep often answering the phone and talking for awhile and not remembering until the person says something about it days later. This is taking over my life, I'm ALWAYS tired. I'm 26 in good health not overweight. I have been being treated for depression for the last 5 yrs and was wondering if the depression is caused by the sleep thing or is it the other way around? Please e-mail any help directly to me.
