Posted by David Nyman on February 24, 1998 at 16:59:28:I had a sleep study done and my %oxygen fell below 60%. I now use CPAP, but sometimes fall asleep without it. How damaging is this hypoxia? I went for several months after the sleep study while fighting insurance about UPPP while under a ENT's care without CPAP. Could one or two nights hurt?
Should I be seeing a sleep disorder Doc? I don't think there is one in the rural community I live in.
