I'm on CPAP now, but for 3 years, told my wife that sleepapnea was just another way for MD's to make more money. I feel better and have a lot more energy..
I finally gave in and checked with my doc about it and he had me take an oxygen measuring device home. it just clipped on my index finger, and my wife took readings every half hour or so and wrote em down. I was convinced to get a sleep test after I saw and the doc explained the readings and the posibility of long term health problems if I didn't get it checked out.
