I have been told that getting air leaks into the eye is very dangerous, and I have been told that it is not so dangerous. what I have figured out is that if your eyes get dry, they get crusty and they can also be more prone to getting infections, which if left untreated, can turn into serious eye problems. but I would say very strongly, DO NOT TOLERATE EYE LEAKS!! sinus pain is well treated by heated humidity. eye leaks are address thru proper fitting of the mask, headgear, and getting a machine that has a leak alarm.
