Violent sleep

Posted by Robert on March 04, 1998 at 22:07:52:

I have violent sleep. I wake up after beating on my bedpartner (I almost gave her a black eye one time.) The last episode I had, I grabbed her arm and she woke up and said, "Robert, don't fight with me!"

She said I woke up, looked her in the eye and rolled over (I don't remember any of it). In the past 8 weeks I have had violent sleep about 4 times. I remember having this problem all my life (I am now 31). Is there anything I can do NOT to have violent sleep?

I am dreaming when I have violent sleep. I remember being chased by a werewolf in one of the attacks. Other times I don't remember the dream, but I know I have the nightmares that cause the violent sleep. Did you hear about the case in Texas I think it was about the guy who was walking in his sleep and killed someone? Talk about violent sleep...Sheesh!
