I have a problem similar to yours but a bit different. I, too, have no trouble falling asleep but then I consistently wake up after just 3 hours of sleep. And I'm wide awake! Then, I generally fall asleep again about an hour or two before I have to get up. I've talked with several doctors but no one seems to know what wakes me after only three hours. Extra strenous exercise doesn't make a difference neither do sleeping pills or varying the time that I go to bed. It's very frustrating. The one and only thing that has helped me sleep longer than 3 hours is acupuncture. But unfortunely, it doesn't last. I might get 2 or 3 nights of better sleep then I'm back to the 3 hours only. The doctor that I get the acupuncture from thought there might be an environmental reason in my house why I wasn't sleeping. We checked the electic and magnetic fields in our house but they checked out ok. But perhaps that might explain why you can't sleep in your house but you can other places!
