Normal circadian rythms (sleep/wake cycles) would have you sleeping somewhat less than you do, especially those frequent 11-12 hour nights. That you do not have daytime sleepiness suggests that you get adequate sleep during those nights, but if you are chronically tired even when your low blood sugar is under control, and especially if you have other risk factors such as overweight or snoring, you would be wise to investigate your sleep health in the healthcare system. Contemporary sleep medicine can effectively diagnose and treat disordered sleep. Consult with a physician who specializes in sleep medicine.
