Sounds like a symptom of Narcolepsy. Uncontrolable sleep attacks, and/or cataplexy (sudden muscle loss, hypnogogic nightmares, etc. I am not a doctor, I am a patient. Diagnosed in 1982 at the age of 33. If you haven't already consulted your doctor, you should do so. I remeber going to my family doctor and telling him that when I laugh I fall down, and of course he laughed, he also sent me to a neurologist.
