Kaye:

You may want to try Breathe Right (brand name) nasal strips if you are looking for a non-pharmacological method to open your nasal passages.

These are the Band-Aide type things that elite and over-paid professional athletes wear on their noses during sporting events.

The nasal strips are available at many drug stores at a reasonable price and each can be used a couple of times if you wash and dry your nose before each use (according to the manufacturer).

I have worn them on a couple of occasions at night when allergy season rolls around.

I stopped wearing them when the company refused to give me a lucrative endosement contract...

Good luck.
