Sleep

Posted by Alix Van Rees` on March 16, 1998 at 13:08:25:

I usually go to sleep at the beginning of the night, but wake up about
three hours later and can't get back. By morning I'm usually surprised that
I have been "asleep", because it seems like I've been awake and thinking.
This "sleep" is filled with dreams - not nightmares. My mind is teeming
with thoughts when I get up, and continues through the day like this unless
I meditate or take a firm stance with myself. This requires constant
vigilance.
I did get enough sleep for about a year when I was taking Lithium. The side
effects of Lithium were such that I stopped that and the sleep problems
came back.

Is there something I can do to alleviate this?
Thanks. Alix Van Rees - nealix@ctol.net
