If the mask had an airbag of thin plastic that you could put your nose into, you might have seen the Monarch Mini-Mask, manufactured by Respironics. It fits up against the nostril openings, and is not like the rigid clear masks at all. I think that it is very comfortable for me to use, but takes several nights to get used to it. The exhale ports make more noise than the rigis masks do, I think, but I have been told that the nasal pillow masks have the noisiest exhale ports, even making a whistling sound the at higher prescribed pressures.
