Swallowing air and bloating is a well known side effect of TOO MUCH AIR PRESSURE ON YOUR CPAP. Contact your sleep doctor at once and report this side effect and insist that the pressure be turned down. If they won't - get a new doctor. I've been a sleep technologist for 13 years and have seen this only rarely, but it definately does happen from time to time. Your home health company should have told you of this possibility, as well.
