Help with humidifiers

Posted by Paul V on March 18, 1998 at 12:04:50:

Having just started on a CPAP (still in the demo phase) and really think a humidifier would be a great idea and my sinuses would like it too. Has anyone had a positive experience with a pass-over humidifier? Specifically the Oasis from Respironics(sp?). I am currently using th Aria LX machine and like it, but I don't think that insurance will spring for a heated humidifier.

Should I save my money and not waste it on the pass-over system? Need some objective opinions. There is no funding here for OSA and you are left swinging in the breeze after your sleep study. Need advice from those who have been there.

Regards,

Paul
