8 hours of sleep is an average. Some people need 10 others need 6. If you are sleeping in on the weekends then you are not getting enough sleep during the week. Trouble getting up during the week is also a symptom of sleep deprivation. There could also be a breathing dirsorder that will give a similar result.
I would not put a lot of weight on the biorhythm generator. It is mostly for fun.
