getting use to cpap for the first time

Posted by debbie on March 21, 1998 at 19:07:46:

I went for my 2nd sleep study a week ago. I have OSA. I was to use the cpap for the first time. When the cpap was put on I got very sick. I was released from the hospital only 4 days before my study. I had inner ear problems. They think because of this I had trouble with the cpap, anyway I had to leave and am to go back in a month. My question is can anyone help me when they put the cpap back on. I not sure I can do this. Would it be better if I hold the cpap and get use to it instead of letting them put it on me and so much force of air coming into to me. Please help the experience was terrible.
Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!
