You don't mention anything about ramping. Didn't they (the sleep techs) ajust the amount of air flow slowly. When I first got my cpap the airflow went from barely noticable to a full pressure of 11 over a twenty minute period. Personlly I did not care for this and opted to elminate the ramping and go full force immediately. Perhaps if you worked with the ramping it would help you ajust more easily.
