sleep eating is a variant of sleepwalking where one actually eats stuff while sleepwalking. We had a recent patient who drank 12 ounces of lamp oil while sleepwalking . Another buttered slices of bread and ate cigarette sandwiches. No this is not a psychiatric disorder, but a sleep disorder!
