Hi Wendy,
I hate not being able to sleep. I sound the same as you, back in Feb95 I had a period of 4 days without sleep and it culminated in an anxiety attack, couldn't believe that it could/had happened to me. Well tonight I am gonna try Trazodone for the first time (1/2 of a 50mg) to sleep, My Dr has me taking Paxil at 10mg per day and this doesn't seem to do anything, I called the Dr today and the fill in Dr returned the call and I said that last night I went to be at midnight and I didn't fall asleep until 4:45AM, this is not conducive to a productive day. You need sleep soooo bad to rejuvinate your mind daily and when it doesn't come naturally it is terribly frustrating and then the frustration while you attempt to sleep just extends the insomnia. My wife is tired of me waking her at 3AM asking her to rub my back so I can try to sleep, she can muster about 2 minutes worth..then she falls back to sleep where she belongs...I gotta sweet wife! Thank God for that! Keep me posted and let me know how you're doing... I do care.
