I had the same problem and found out that my sleep patterns fluctuate. I thought the CPAP was doing the trick because I also felt somewhat better and had stopped snoring. However, I found out that in fact the CPAP only cut my apneas in half when After a year of trying different pressures with no success, I am finally in the process of getting an oral appliance made. I will have it next week and I'll know how effective it is after trying it. My Doctor told me the machine doesn't always work for everyone. Hopefully, you won't have to go a year before finding something that works for you, but I would definitly recommend you talk to you sleep specialist again.
