Lori,

I've been on CPAP about a moth, and I also started off with a Gold Seal mask, and had a good bit of trouble adjusting it for comfort. Even after I got it to stop punching a hole in the bridge of my nose, I still had problems with it rubbing my upper lip and particularly putting pressure on the base of my septum. Also, I have a moustache, which was really uncomfortable under this mask.

I'm currently using a ResMed Sullivan Bubble Mask, which is pretty comfortable. I do have some trouble adjusting the leaks out of it during the night though, and find the lack of an equivalent to the Whisper Swivel annoying.

I tried nasal pillows and had what may be a coincidental Really Bad Experience with them. I should probably try them again, but due to the first round of unpleasantness, it'll probabaly be a while before I attempt it.

My provider is supposed to have ordered a ResMed Sullivan Mirage mask for me to try, but it hasn't come in yet.

Good luck to you!
