Hi Mark. Did I luck in, I'm due to have my second sleep study May 5, 1998. I have done all the homework I could possibly do on the different machines. So far I have concluded that the Sullivan V Elite CPAP, and the Sullivan HumidAire warm air humidifier to be the quietest. This CPAP gives some control as to ramp speed setting, and has an easy to fill and clean humidifier. If you know differently speak now, as I will not make the purchase until 1 month after the 2nd sleep study. I'm not sure if a battery can be used for backup with this machine. If anyone has any knowledge of this please let me know. Thanks for your ideas.
