Hi Asghar Shah:
How noisey is the machine, my husband is a light sleeper. I hear they all have a certain noise level, but I was told by my provider (Vitalaire) that it depends on the amount of air flow prescribed as to how noisey it is. She recommended the Tranquility Quest, if the air flow was above a certain level. As for the surgery for the snoring, I was told, and I have read many articles, that there is no guarantee of success, and that the problem may recur. Ask your doctor about this one. Be careful, you don't want to use your license for non-compliance if the C-Pap bothers you that much. Like me, you'll have to include it in your nightly ritual for the rest of your life, like it or not. But you can see what the doctor says, maybe you only have a mild case of obstructive sleep apnea. Let me know what he says, I'd be interested in hearing.
