Hi Mark:

I have noted the new website and will look at it. Meanwhile I've asked my distributor the questions you asked. The system does accept DC with an inverter. The unit connects to the battery with alligator clips, or a generator can be used for back-up. The current requirements for the unit are a marine battery, or as stated before the generator. The specs for the humidifier are the same. If I've left anything out let me know. Thanks for the follow-up. I'll keep an eye out for your response.
