I recently inherited a new medical director. He is new to sleep and he wants all respiratory events scored, regardless of wheather there is a decrease in oxygen saturation or an arousal. I am not clear as to what he is trying to treat these patients for. If there is a decrease in airflow of 50%, for 20 seconds, WITHOUT an arousal or desat, I have never scored these. Am I missing something? Thanks
