Our bodies never adjust to the night shift. You must learn to discipline yourself to go straight home and go to sleep after working and try to sleep at least 8 hours unless it's the last day of your shift and then only sleep 4 so you can sleep that night. Make sure your room is dark and cool. Turn off your phone. And especially wear sun glasses on your way home from work. Our Circadian Rhythm tells us that we should normally sleep at night and stay awake during the day. We release hormones that help us to do that. When we go to a different shift it's hard, but it can be done.Good luck!
