I have recently been diagnosed w/ACM I, 1st neuro states surgery is in order. I have 2nd opinon next week. I have read a great deal about this, but I do not have all the same symptoms. I really don't get many headaches, I am exhausted, but I think it is from fighting the constant pain battle all day, every day. I am not convinced surgery will correct the horrible pain in by upper back, neck, shoulder/arm. Has anyone else had these symptoms w/o the headaches. Any insight will be greatly appreciated. The surgery doesn't make sense to me. It doesn't correct the problem, & my fear is the symptoms will remain after surgery. Has this been anyones experience? Please let me know. Thank you all.
