Apnea Testing of Professional Truck Drivers

Is sleep apnea testing required for OTR truckers? I read that over 50% may have symptoms of the condition. If it is not generally required, does any trucking company voluntarily utilize a sleep lab or portable testing clinic? Any research information would be greatly appreciated!
