been in the sleep lab forever (13 years), and the quietest machine I've ever found is the Sullivan line of cpaps, distributed in the US by RESMED.

The technologists in my lab cannot hear the machine even when standing next to it, we have to run out to the monitoring room just to check the remote control readout to make sure it's on!
